What is Numerology?

The metaphysical practice of numerology can be traced back thousands of years. It is a system of magic and divination developed by Pythagoras of Samos concerning the symbolic nature of numbers. In numerology, all words, names and numbers may be reduced to single digits. The symbolism of these digits corresponds to certain occult characteristics that influence one’s personality/individuality. Numerology is used to analyze a person’s character; assess weaknesses, strengths and natural gifts; predict one’s future and fate; determine the best place to live; and discover the best times to make decisions and take action. Specifics

An individuals name is reduced to numbers by applying each letter in the alphabet to a single digit number and adding them together. The sum of these numbers is then broken and added together until a single digit number is reached, (hence 35 would be broken to 3+5, and make 8). Only numbers 11 and 22 are reduced no further.
